1. WHAT ARE PARSLEY SEEDS?

Parsley seeds refer to the small, oval, striped spermatozoid particles belonging to the parsley plant. Parsley seeds, which have a slightly curved shape, appear hairy and grey-green. Although the effects of parsley on the human body are widely known and discussed, there is still not enough awareness about its seeds. In other words, we can say that parsley seeds are still not appreciated as they deserve today!
The ideal temperature for germination of parsley seeds is stated to be 20 degrees Celsius, and they are fertile enough to sprout regardless of soil type. However, the germination rate of the seeds is known to be quite slow. The seeds germinate in two to four weeks at ideal temperatures, and about six weeks at lower temperatures. To speed up the germination process, it is recommended to soak the seeds the night before planting. The scent of the seeds is the same as parsley, even more intense.
